<p>My research focus on development and validation of small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) based detection systems for cancer early detection and disease monitoring. I use muti-omics approaches (transcriptomic, proteomics and epigenetics). Moreover, we employ Microarrays analysis of sEvs along with immunoassays, immunoprecipitation, RNAseq, qPCR and imaging to identify and prioritize candidate sEVs exo-proteins or miRNAs for the cancer fingerprint that can differentiate specific type of cancer. Furthermore, tumor microbiome and germline mutations associated with risk of familial cancer will be screened. I hope to identify EV associated genetic changes, pathways, methylome-patterns, novel mRNA/miRNA and proteins that have greatest stability and producibility to diagnose and precisely track disease burden with initial focus on ovarian cancer.</p>
