Officers

The WIMS Executive Council (EC) includes six elected positions:

• President
• Secretary
• Four faculty representatives of KU School of Medicine: two PhD representatives and two MD/DO representatives.

In addition to the elected offices, the WIMS EC includes several liaison positions, including individuals from Graduate Medical Education, Graduate Student Council and more.The majority of the members serving on the EC shall constitute a quorum.

Elections

The elected WIMS officers will have faculty appointments in the KUMC School of Medicine and will be nominated and voted upon by the membership at large. Officers serve a two-year term but may be re-elected for a second term.
