Professional Background

Wilfred Vazquez, M.D., is a clinical instructor on the clinical track in the Department of Neurology. He completed his medical degree at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, followed by his neurology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center, which he completed in 2025. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology
Dr. Vazquez’s clinical interests run the scope of general neurology.

Research

Overview

Dr. Vazquez’s research interests include thalamic RNS and patient decision making in epilepsy surgery. He has given presentations on the topics of migraine during pregnancy, vertebrobasilar dolichoectasia and Sturge-Weber syndrome.
