Professional Background

Dr. Rianprakaisang is board certified in both emergency medicine and medical toxicology. After finishing his doctor of medicine at Boston University he went on to complete a residency in emergency medicine at University of Connecticut. After residency, he pursued a fellowship in medical toxicology at Oregon Health and Science University where he nurtured an interest in biochemistry, physiology, and the effects of xenobiotics on the body . His areas of interest include care of the acutely poisoned patient and novel psychoactive compounds.
