Tekalign Burka, M.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Dr. Burka graduated from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in 2013. He joined the faculty in 2018 after successful completion of neurology residency and neurophysiology fellowship. His clinical interest is diagnosis and treatment of multiple conditions within the scope of general neurology.
Dr Burka has been a presenter in different meetings and conferences including Americal Acadamy of Neurology, Neurology update course with the department, and Carrell-Krusen Neuromuscular Symposium in Dallas. As a neurophysiology fellow, he earned the best poster presentation category at the 2018 Carrell-Krusen Neuromuscular Symposium.
