Dr. Sara Powell is a member of the Wichita Anesthesiology Chartered group located at Wesley Medical Center.
Dr. Sara Powell was born and raised in the Midwest and has always valued the strong sense of community that comes with calling this region home. She completed her undergraduate education at Friends University, where she was a student-athlete and enjoyed playing collegiate soccer. She went on to earn her medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences.
Dr. Powell returned to Wichita to complete her residency training at the University of Kansas School of Medicine - Wichita. She then pursued a fellowship in Pediatric Anesthesia at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. In 2014 she came back home to Wichita to begin practicing, where she remains dedicated to serving families in her hometown and contributing to the training of future physicians.
