Professional Background

I am currently the Assistant Director of Graduate Education in the Department of Biostatistics andamp; Data Science and serve as the primary administrator for the department's online graduate program. In addition to administrative duties, I teach three to six credit hours each term.

Prior to moving to the education side of the department, I was a lead statistical researcher for the department and supervised the Master's level statisticians in the department as they assisted faculty on research projects.

In previous roles, I served in various levels as a research statistician, supervisor, team lead, and university instructor at both University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. In this capacity, I worked on large multi-institution coordinating center projects, Phase I, II, and III clinical trials, and investor initiated trials.

Research

Overview

I am a statistician and education administrator in the Department of Biostatistics andamp; Data Science in School of Medicine. I am the primary administrator of the MS in Applied Statistics, Analytics andamp; Data Science, Graduate Certificate in Applied Statistics, and Graduate Certificate in Applied Data Science programs. I am involved in research on the unique needs of non-traditional and 100% online graduate students.
