Dr. Samuel R. Luka, MD, FACS is an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the Oncologic Surgery Division for Colon and Rectal Surgery at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Luka was raised in the suburbs of Chicago, and he graduated from Washington University in Saint Louis. He then received a Master of Science degree from Georgetown University before obtaining his Medical Degree from Saint Louis University. His General Surgery training was done at George Washington University, and he then pursued additional fellowship training in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson.
