Steve J. Lauer, Ph.D., M.D.

Professional Background

Dr Lauer completed his PhD in biochemistry at the University of Texas,Austin in 1984. He then worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow and Staff Research Investigator at the Gladstone Institute for Cardiovascular Research in San Francisco. He received his MD degree from the University of California, Irvine in 1997 and completed his Pediatric Residency at UCSF in 2000. After working at UCSF for a year as a Staff Physician, he moved to the Department of Pediatrics at KUMC in 2001.
