Dr. Sidney Hu, MD, FACS, is an Assistant Professor in the Bariatric Surgery Division at the University of Kansas Medical Center. Dr. Hu received a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of Kansas and earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Hu completed her residency in general surgery at the University of Missouri Health Care in Columbia, Missouri.
Dr. Hu joined our faculty in 2017 and is board-certified in general surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, fellow of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery, and diplomate of American Board of Obesity Medicine.
