Professional Background

After completing my medical education at the University of Medicine and Biosciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, I joined the University of Kansas Medical Center for a residency in Internal Medicine. I then went on to do a Chief Resident year followed by a fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. I currently practice at the University of Kansas Medical Center, serving the hospital and clinic for both adult and pediatric patients as well as the Program Director for the Allergy/Immunology Fellowship. I am involved in the University of Kansas School of Medicine as a clinical co-director of the Inflammation and Immunity module and spend one day per week with first and second year medical students.

Research

Overview

Although, my research interests vary quite considerably, my focus tends to be in the field of quality improvement with regard to disease management. I have had the good fortune to be able to offer several pharmaceutical advancement studies to my patients, which only help to improve the quality of their disease management as well as to advance medication management in allergy and immunology.
