Professional Background

Sharon Fitzgerald Wolff is a Research Instructor in the Department of Population Health at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Ms. Wolff completed her MPH from the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2009 and is currently working toward a PhD in Health Policy and Management at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Ms. Wolff has many teaching responsibilities for the MPH, MS-CR and medical school programs, including Principles of Epidemiology, Epidemiology for Advanced Nursing Practice, Introduction to Clinical Research, and Population Health in Practice.

Ms. Wolff has experience working as a senior research analyst and/or project coordinator for a variety of research projects including those surrounding smoking cessation, heart failure, diabetes, adolescent vaccination, and telemedicine. She has over 15 years of experience designing, implementing, and providing data analysis for research studies. Currently, she provides research support to resident, fellow, and attending physicians in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Overview

Sharon Fitzgerald Wolff is a Research Instructor in the Department of Population Health at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Ms. Wolff has held many roles on over a dozen federally funded research studies. She began as a research assistant, then after completing a Master of Public Health with emphasis in epidemiology and biostatistics, she worked as a research analyst and project coordinator for several studies.
