Professional Background

Dr. Shelby Fishback is an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is a member of the Abdominal Imaging Division and serves as the Program Director for the Diagnostic Radiology residency program and Vice Chair of Education for the Department of Radiology.

Dr. Fishback received her medical degree and completed her residency training at the University of Kansas. She completed an Abdominal Imaging Fellowship at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.

Overview

I am an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology. My main interests include resident education and curricular development. I actively support residents as teachers programs and currently serve as the Chair of the Residents as Teachers subcommittee for our Office of Graduate Medical Education.
