Professional Background
I am an early-career Internal Medicine Hospitalist based in the Kansas City Metro area. I have been part of the KU Health system since 2010 when I began research as an undergraduate student, and have been fortunate enough to receive my medical education and residency training here at KU.
I am dedicated to delivering patient-centered care in a high-acuity inpatient setting. As a Fellow of the American College of Physicians, I am driven to continue expanding my medical knowledge through professional development and teaching medical students and residents.
I serve as a Physician Advisor at the University of Kansas Health System and have a strong interest in Observation medicine.
My interests include medical education, professional development, holistic health and wellness, fitness, international travel and growing my gluten-free cooking and baking skills.
I am a general member of the Kansas Chapter of American College of Physicians and former Chair of the KS ACP Women in Medicine committee.
