Dr. Sarah Corn originates from Inman, Kansas and is a graduate of Kansas State University. She obtained her medical degree from University of Kansas School of Medicine. Her residency was completed at the same institution, and was followed by Complex General Surgical Oncology fellowship at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec.
Dr. Corn specializes in abdominal cancer surgeries, including the full spectrum of the GI tract from esophagus to rectum. She also performs complex liver and pancreas surgeries for both benign and malignant conditions. Her special interests include retroperitoneal sarcoma and peritoneal disease. She also performs routine general surgeries.
Dr. Corn has been a Clinical Assistant Professor for the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita Department of Surgery since 2021, with responsibilities of teaching surgical residents and medical students. She has also been the Surgery Clerkship Director since 2022, holding the responsibility of organizing the core surgery clerkship for all medical students on campus.
