Learn about the Post-Master's Doctor of Nursing Practice Leadership Major.

The post-master's Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program is designed for nurses with a master's degree in a nursing specialty area who are ready to take the next step.

Appropriate preparation for the Post-Master's DNP Leadership Major includes a master's degree in Nursing Leadership (Administration), Health Informatics or Public Health Nursing.

Preparing nurses to serve at the highest level as advanced practice nurses or leaders in their existing specialty, the KU Post-Master's DNP Leadership Major builds on the master's program foundation to expand the breadth and depth of the nursing practice specialty.

The curriculum requires a minimum of 32 credit hours. With the exception of NRSG 935 and NRSG 954, all required courses are offered online.
