MNRS Conference 2025
Nineteen students, faculty, and fellows present scholarly work

The University of Kansas School of Nursing was well represented at the Midwest Nursing Research Society’s (MNRS) annual conference in Indianapolis March 26-29, 2025. Eleven students, seven faculty, and a post-doctoral nursing scholar made several presentations.
The Conference’s main topic was “The Intersection of Nursing Research and AI: Data, Education, and Outcomes” and learning objectives included:
- Evaluate the influence of artificial intelligence on health outcomes related to social determinants of health.
- Assess innovative approaches that aim to strengthen the connections between research, education, and health outcomes.
- Identify policy implications of AI in nursing research.
KU School of Nursing students are empowered and encouraged to participate in nursing scholarship and research at every level of education.
