Disease
  • Reportable Infectious Disease Statistics
    The KDHE Bureau of Epidemiology and Public Health Informatics - Infectious Disease Epidemiology and Rsponse section conducts infectious disease surveillance and outbreak investigations and provides subject matter expertise to locatl health departments,healthcare facilities, clinicians, veterinarians and the public. Data are extracted from the Kansas secure electronic disease surveillance system, EpiTrax.
  • Kansas Syndromic Surveillance Program (KSSP) 
    The KSSP collects information from hospital emergency department and urgent care/immediate care visits in a timelye manner. Data are pulled from the Electronic Surveillance System for the Early Notification of Community-Based Epidemics (ESSENCE).
