- U01HL105232: Increasing Post-Discharge Follow-Up Among Hospitalized Smokers
Teaching
My teaching interests include grantwriting skills, quality improvement, and evidence based medicine. I believe that participation, not passive learning, is best. Understanding how knowledge is generated - experiencing the scientific process - is essential for mentees, who will have to acquire and apply new information their entire professional lives and will be responsible for evaluating and improving their own performance. This understanding is best taught through real-world experiences.
