Our staff of physicians and University of Kansas medical students provide the following medical services either on-site or by referral:
- Cardiology Night
- Diabetes Night
- We provide a medical home to diabetic patients where they can be managed and followed over time. Services include regular check-ups with a physician, laboratory work-ups, treatment as it becomes available, and education on appropriate diet and nutrition. Patients are referred to Diabetes Night after first being seen by the general clinic.
- Ophthalmology/Optometry Night
- JayDoc Ophthalmology Night provides eye health evaluations to all of our patients. Our team will give recommendations necessary to help our patients maintain excellent vision. Exams offered include testing for glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, cataracts, and more. Referrals are made for patients who require surgeries or more serious follow-ups. In addition, the clinic is also able to provide glasses for patients at low to no cost.
- Women’s Health Night
-
Women’s Health Initiative Program focuses on providing obstetrical and postpartum care for expecting mothers, as well as contraceptive consultation, limited gynecological care (not including breast-related concerns), and annual well woman exams. Patients are typically referred to Women’s Health night after first being seen at a general night. If we cannot address a patient’s concern, we can provide referrals for care elsewhere when necessary.
-
- Dental Night
- Appointments can be scheduled prior to dental night by emailing jaydocfreedentalclinic@gmail.com. During dental night, limited walk-ins will be available between 5-6 p.m. on a first-come basis.
- Dermatology Night
- JayDoc Dermatology Night offers comprehensive dermatology services, including evaluations for skin lesions, rashes, acne, hair loss, and other dermatologic concerns. While we do not perform procedures on-site, our dermatologists can recommend necessary treatments and assist in coordinating care. Please note that some concerns may require an initial evaluation during General Night before being referred to Dermatology Night.
- Radiology Night
- Musculoskeletal (MSK) Night
- Gender-Affirming Night
- Gender-Affirming Night provides free physician visits and labs for underinsured patients wishing to undergo hormone replacement therapy (HRT), with the understanding that they will finance their own hormone replacement medication ($40-$70/month). There is currently a waitlist for new patient appointments. Please be advised that it may take a few weeks to respond to your application. View more details on Gender-Affirming Night and services.
