The clinic is open Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. We provide health services to the Greater Kansas City community free of cost! The lab volunteers are essential to the functioning of our clinic to provide the best care possible to our patients!

Lab volunteers at JayDoc perform CLIA waived testing in house and process send-out specimen

• Monospot- Henry Schein OneStep Ultra
• Pregnancy- Henry Schein OneStep+
• Strep A- Henry Schein OneStep+
• Influenza A/B- BD Veritor System
• Rapid COVID- iHealth
• UA- Clinitek
• Microalbumin- Siemens, Clinitek Status
• Glucose (iStat for Glucose Tolerance Test)- Abbott POC, I-Stat G
• Lipid Panel- Abbott POC, Cholestech LDX
• HbA1c Now+ POC

Lab volunteers will undergo necessary training for the above testing and for our EMR system. Competencies will be performed on an annual basis.

Dinner is provided every night as a show of gratitude to our volunteers and the work they provide is recognized on an annual basis through our volunteer recognition initiative.
