Application information for U.S. Medical School Graduates
- Applications only accepted through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)
- Recommend USMLE scores above 200
- For D.O. students: We do accept COMLEX scores in place of USMLE scores
- Minimum of 3 Letters of Recommendation from medical school faculty, submitted directly through ERAS
- Personal Statement & CV submitted with ERAS application
Application information for International Medical Graduates (IMGs)
- Applications only accepted through Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)
- USMLE scores above 200
- 3 Letters of Recommendation from medical school faculty and/or Pathologists you worked with on U.S. clinical internships
- Graduation from medical school within the past 10 years
- Must have ECFMG certificate at time of ranking
- Personal Statement & CV submitted with ERAS application

For MATCH Season 2020-2021
- Pathology residency candidate interviews will take place virtually on several dates between November 2020 and January 2021.
- Candidates will be interviewed by members of the department’s clinical faculty and KCVA faculty.
- Prior to interviews, candidates will receive an overview of the program by Katie Dennis, MD, AP/CP Residency Program Director.
- Candidates are also encouraged to attend a virtual event with the program’s current residents to learn more about the program in a less formal setting.
