Below are resources that you may find helpful when using the various technologies required in the medical education program.
These links may require you to have a KUMC login and be accessible in mid-July of your incoming year.
LearningSpace
LearningSpace is the learning management system used by the Neis Clinical Skills Lab. The mission of the lab is to provide the highest quality clinical education to undergraduate medical students, in order to ensure that graduates of the University of Kansas School of Medicine are proficient in basic clinical skills. Use Learning Space to schedule your lab time.

Storage Options
Office 365 OneDrive for Business: 1TB of storage available to each student.
Panopto
Panopto is the lecture capture, management, and organization system utilized at the University of Kansas Medical Center.

Blackboard
Blackboard is the learning management system utilized by KU Medical Center for quizzing, assignment upload, and the student grade book. You will use this system when taking weekly or formative quizzes, uploading forms and assignments, completing pre-work, and checking grades before they are uploaded to Enroll and Pay.

Poll Everywhere
Poll Everywhere is the live interactive audience participation system utilized in the SOM. Poll Everywhere allows students to respond to faculty questions, check-in for attendance requires sessions, and interact with faculty lectures.

OASIS*
OASIS is the content management and evaluation system utilized by KUMC for academic calendars and events, evaluations, and clerkship (M3) administration.

ExamSoft
ExamSoft is the application utilized for summative exams in the School of Medicine.

Sante Viewer and OsiriX DICOM Image Viewer
The DICOM image viewers recommended by KUMC are Sante CT Viewer Free (for Windows devices), and OsiriX Lite Image Viewer (for Mac).

Aperio Digital Images
Webscope was sunset on Dec 31, 2020. Only PC users can download and utilize ImageScope
Aperio is an ePathology tool for viewing digital images. ImageScope is optional and requires downloading a client app. It has some advanced features you may wish to use.
