Brennen Bittel, D.O.
Clinical Associate Professor
Dr. Bittel earned her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from Nova Southeastern University in 2008, before completing a neurology residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2011. She also completed a neurophysiology fellowship at KU Medical Center in 2013, before joining the full-time faculty in September 2013 as a clinical assistant professor. She is board certified in neurology and clinical neurophysiology.
Before completing her medical training, she received bachelor's degrees in chemistry and biology from Fort Hays State University.
She has completed more than 1,000 hours of community service work through Americorps, functioning as a team leader and helping with the creation and implementation of an after-school program for at-risk youths.
