Mental Health and Support

Here are some mental health and support services that can help boost your emotional, psychological and social well-being and improve how you handle stress, make choices and relate to others.

Psychological Services

The Office of Counseling and Educational Support Services provides psychological services for KU Medical Center students and residents within a confidential, inclusive atmosphere of safety and respect to assist individuals in addressing emotional and interpersonal issues that may be affecting their well-being. Counseling sessions can address a wide variety of concerns, including managing stress; dealing with feelings of depression, anxiety, grief, loneliness, or anger; improving relationships; successfully adapting to academic programs or other life situations or other topics. The Office of Graduate Medical Education funds all fees for residents and fellows, so you can access these services at no cost.
