The Curriculum

In the broadest sense, the KU School of Medicine maintains a "2+2" curricular model consisting of two years of primarily pre-clerkship education (Phase I) followed by two years of learning in a clinical environment (Phase II). However, the ACE curriculum has expansive clinical exposure through multiple mechanisms, along with an orientation towards clinical problem solving and patient presentation from the first day of medical school.
