Learning Communities
The Medical Alumni Societies Program is pleased to announce that the program has been restructured to represent a more robust learning community for the new ACE curriculum. Beginning with the 2017-2018 academic year, the Societies will provide the fundamental structure for small group learning, advising and student wellness.
The Medical Alumni Societies faculty will represent a diverse group of faculty with regard to specialty, gender, stage of career, nature and extent of teaching experience and interests within the field of medicine. The Society leadership and faculty will work amongst themselves and students as well as with School of Medicine governance bodies to achieve the School of Medicine and Society missions.
