Pediatrics
- Research database - Interested in learning more about future clinical trials? Join our research database! The purpose of this database is to collect potential participants’ demographic and personal health information to determine if they qualify for any current and/or future research studies.
Adults
- Depression - The Vitalize Clinical Study is currently enrolling participants to study a new type of investigational drug for treating depression. Over a period of 14 weeks, participants will have a total of eight study visits at KU School of Medicine-Wichita and one telephone visit. During the eight clinic visits, participants will receive either the study drug or placebo as an oral tablet. Participants will also complete evaluations of their depression, physical examinations and tests of their blood, urine, heart and brain activity. Participants may also complete an optional sleep study. Participants must be between the ages of 18 to 64, diagnosed with depression, currently experiencing a major depressive episode, have mild anxiety and insomnia, and are not diagnosed with other psychiatric conditions such as bipolar disorder, antisocial personality disorder (ASPD), obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), borderline personality disorder (BPD) or attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).
