Nurse Manager (Midtown)
This position serves as a working manager for the Midtown Internal Medicine Clinic, supervising clinical staff and assigned to provide primary clinical support for Dr. Donna Sweet. Performs daily patient-centered tasks within scope of practice and manages day-to-day operations of the clinic’s back office. Associate's degree (two-year college or technical school); BSN preferred; two to four years of related experience; previous supervisory experience preferred; Registered Nurse (preferred) licensed in the State of Kansas; LPN with extensive management experience may be considered; IV certification is a plus.
Front Office Manager (Midtown)
Front Office Manager is responsible for daily operations of all front office tasks, orders office supplies, and assists in coordinating building maintenance projects. This position will be a working manager who will ensure staff are properly trained, performing work accurately and completing tasks in a timely manner in addition to providing back-up for the positions that are supervised. High school diploma required; associate's or health care administration degree preferred. Two to three years of experience in physician office or health care office management and direct supervision.
Medical Case Manager (Ryan White Part D)
The full-time Medical Case Manager position is an integral part of the UKSM-W Medical Practice Association HIV Program. The primary function of this position is to assist people living with HIV/AIDS or those affected by HIV in obtaining resources and social service assistance including Ryan White programs, housing and patient assistance, dental services, transportation and more. This position carries a caseload and but also assists clients that are not on their caseload. Bachelor's degree in social work or health and human services preferred; 2-3 years in related field may substitute for degree. Will be trained to be a certified HIV/AIDS counselor and educator, and perform HIV testing.
Medical Assistant/Receptionist (Psychiatry)
Immediate need for full-time Medical Assistant/Receptionist for outpatient Psychiatry clinic. Knowledge of insurance, outpatient scheduling, medical terminology and medical assistant job responsibilities. Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in mental health and medication management preferred. Medical Assisting certificate required. Attention to detail with the ability to multitask and thrive in fast-paced environment necessary.
