The 2026 JayDoc Awards & Fundraising Banquet was a huge success! There were 155 attendees and it was an enjoyable event with student volunteers, preceptors, sponsors and community members in attendance. The JayDoc Community Clinic board of directors are especially grateful to Ninth Floor for helping us host a beautiful evening and dinner. Guest speaker for the evening was Dr. Sheryl Beard, one of the clinic's longtime physician volunteers who has provided years of service and mentorship for students. We raised more than $44,000 from our generous sponsors and had over 30 silent auction items, which will be utilized to enhance our current and upcoming comprehensive diabetes care initiatives. Thanks to the successful fundraiser, the clinic can continue its mission to provide free, high-quality health care to Wichita's underserved populations with the support of our volunteers and sponsors.

Support Comprehensive Diabetes Care at JayDoc

Donations and proceeds will support patients by providing essential diabetes supplies like testing strips and glucose monitors, access to vital medications, interpreter services and a diabetes education class that empowers patients to manage their health. With your generosity, we can ensure every patient at JayDoc living with diabetes receives the complete care and support they deserve. 

The student-run JayDoc Community Clinic, a partnership between Guadalupe Clinic and KU School of Medicine-Wichita, has proudly served the community for 20 years, providing quality care regardless of income.
