BCBSKS and KU Wichita Pediatrics partner to create a healthier future
June 1, 2025 -- Funds received from the Wichita Open have helped support programming for KU Wichita Pediatrics, such as school-based health clinics, Kansas Kids Mental Health Access Program, the Center for Research for Infant Birth & Survival, and the division of hematology and oncology.
Grant covers expansion of free Baby Talk prenatal program
April 22, 2025 -- Kansas expectant moms in nearly all of the state’s counties now have the opportunity to participate in a free prenatal education program offered through KU School of Medicine-Wichita.
Health care ventures into schools, and KU School of Medicine-Wichita trainees do, too
April 22, 2025 -- Since 2021, students have been walking in the door at school-based health clinics in Haysville and Valley Center run by the KU School of Medicine-Wichita Department of Pediatrics with a strong assist from the Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences.
