Electives for Medical Students
Two- or four-week electives are offered for traditional visiting students in the fourth year of medical school. Surgery electives at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita include:
- General Surgery
- Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Burn/Critical Care
- Vascular Surgery
- Trauma
- Breast Surgery
Some General Surgery rotations will include special focus on specialties such as colorectal, endocrine or surgical oncology.
