Application Process
To Our Applicants:
This year we will be using CentralApp (CentralApp) in addition to ERAS for our review process. There is no cost for you to use CentralApp. We ask that applicants apply to both CentralApp and ERAS.
Upon accessing CentralApp, you will be instructed to create a secure account that will be verified by your medical school dean's office, who will submit your transcripts and MSPE directly through the portal. Letters of recommendation should be requested through CentralApp in order for you to have a complete application for us to review. The Match will remain with the National Residency Matching Program (NRMP). Please direct any questions about the application to HELP@accessgme.com.
Residency Application Information (2024-2025)
The Anesthesiology Residency Program at the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita will accept applications only via the Electronic Residency Application Services (ERAS) from the Association of American Medical College (AAMC).
ERAS application materials are distributed, each year, from the dean's office of participating medical schools after June 30. Applicants from non-participating medical schools should contact the AAMC for information on ERAS.
Our program is a four-year program beginning at the PGY-1 level. Applicants with prior graduate medical education (internship or residency) will be considered only if the number of qualified applicants from senior medical students is insufficient.
We recommend application materials be received by Oct. 20, 2024. Please include your email address on your application.
