One Day One KU results for KU School of Medicine-Wichita include 190 gifts from generous donors
More than 4,500 Jayhawks worldwide made more than 6,000 gifts raising nearly $5.5M overall on One Day One KU, with $285,000 raised for KU School of Medicine-Wichita.

Friends of KU School of Medicine-Wichita showed their support on One Day One KU, KU's annual day of giving, boosting the medical school to fifth place out of 46 KU units for the largest amount raised. The ranking helped KU School of Medicine-Wichita win a met donation challenge, earning an additional $5,000. After all of the numbers were finalized, about $285,000 was raised for KU School of Medicine-Wichita through 190 gifts.
Each of the medical school's four identified priorities raised $1,000 or more. Priorities were the Wichita General Scholarship, the Greater KU Fund-Wichita, the Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship and Wichita Medical Student Research Support.
The JayDoc Community Clinic in Wichita made the Top 10 list of KU student organizations receiving gifts on One Day One KU. The student-run clinic, which partners with Guadalupe Clinic to serve people in need, raised $12,370 from 28 donors.
Overall, more than 4,500 Jayhawks worldwide made more than 6,000 gifts raising nearly $5.5 million on One Day One KU.
