The proceeds from this charity golf tournament will fund childhood cancer research in Wichita. Research funding is the final resource KU Wichita Pediatrics needs to attain Children’s Oncology Group certification for the pediatric cancer program.

The proceeds from this charity golf tournament will fund childhood cancer research in Wichita. Research funding is the final resource KU Wichita Pediatrics needs to attain Children’s Oncology Group certification for the pediatric cancer program. COG-certified programs represent the highest standard of clinical care and access to research protocols for children battling cancer. Over 90% of children with cancer are treated in a COG-certified program and this will be a first in Wichita.
