4-Wichita Advancement Board members travel to Topeka

Members have made it a priority to visit in-person, before COVID-19, a number of legislators during January sessions. They left packets containing KUSM-Wichita enrollment facts, student support information, community-based education and graduate impact on Kansas.

Board meetings and Socials

Board members meet twice a year in which they hear guest speakers including faculty, students and leadership. Afterward, they socialize at one of the board member’s homes.

4-Wichita board welcomes new medical students

Board members made sure the new class of medical students arriving on campus had a warm Wichita welcome by distributing physician-themed care packages containing tickets, passes, maps and general Wichita information. The care packages were assembled by Carol Linnens and Kathie Dakhil.
