The 105
Connecting prospective medical students with current medical students — one county at a time.
The 105 — that refers to the number of counties in the state of Kansas.
The School of Medicine Office of Admissions has launched a goal to connect prospective medical students with current medical students who hail from the same regions of the state. We want to reach prospective students in ALL 105 counties!
The 105 is a 30-minute Zoom session, hosted by a current medical student from your area that will
- highlight their personal path to medical school including why they chose the KU School of Medicine,
- provide guidance to future medical school applicants, and
- highlight premedical and early assurance programs available.
Premedical high school, undergraduate and graduate students will register according to the high school they attended.
