The University of Kansas Hospital Cambridge Tower A

This is the newest addition to the main medical campus and opened in 2018. Cambridge Tower A is dedicated to neurology, neurosurgery and neuro-interventional radiology patients. Most neuroradiology image interpretation takes place here.

As an extension of the main hospital, the medical pavilion provides additional training opportunities in an outpatient facility. Most musculoskeletal images are interpreted here.

Westwood is home of The University of Kansas Cancer Center and is only a 5 minute drive from the main hospital. Residents focus on breast and oncologic imaging here.

Newly expanded in 2018, the Indian Creek Campus is an additional rotation site. Residents will have the opportunity to rotate through MSK, Breast, GI/GU, and IR at ICC.

Children's Mercy Hospital (CMH)

Children's Mercy Hospital is also located in Kansas City, MO. Through this rotation, residents receive exposure to pediatric imaging in fluoroscopy, CT, MRI, plain films, and Sonography, as well as pediatric interventional radiology.

All PGY4 residents have the opportunity to attend a four-week session at AIRP
Simulation Lab
All residents participate in a yearly contrast reaction management simulation experience at our state-of-the-art Zamierowski Institute for Experiential Learning (ZIEL). The Institute provides an immersive team training experience where trainees respond to various contrast reactions in a realistic setting with time to debrief and reflect in small teams. The Education Team is continually adding new scenarios to the simulation curriculum for each academic year.
