The Virtual Collaborative Care Clinic (vCCC) is a research study that is in progress that aims to evaluate the efficacy of an intervention for managing hypertension in individuals aged 65 years and above. The intervention involves the use of a blood-pressure cuff that transmits readings to pharmacists responsible for overseeing the patient's health dashboard across various health systems.
RHYTHM-B
The Remote Hypertension Tracking Help and Management to Reduce Disparities in Black Patients (RHYTHM-B) research study seeks to evaluate the effectiveness of electronic-based care provided by a care team versus in-person care delivered through a traditional doctor's office setting for non-Hispanic Black patients with high blood pressure. This comparison will take place across 18 different healthcare systems and doctor's offices.
GRACIAS
The Genomic Risk Assessment for Cancer Implementation and Sustainment (GRACIAS) is a research initiative focused on addressing disparities and characterizing genetic risk for breast cancer in Latin America. The project utilizes dissemination and implementation of genetic cancer risk assessment to facilitate timely breast cancer interception and enhance prevention interventions for patients and their families.
