Maggie Padek-Kalman, MPH, MSW
Program Lead - Dissemination & Implementation Science and Metric
Maggie Padek Kalman, MPH, MSW is the Director of Evaluation and Implementation Science for the Frontiers Clinical and Translational Science Institute at the University of Kansas Medical Center. She has over a decade of managing implementation science research capacity building efforts and evaluating their outcomes and impacts. Her work has also placed her in a variety of different community settings including an international NGO, a city’s prosecutor’s office, a community mental health center, a community senior center, a public high school as well as mentoring undergraduate student leaders. She earned her Master of Social Work and Master of Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis and is currently working towards her Ph.D. in Health Policy and Management at the University of Kansas Medical Center.
Zseraldina Ferenczi, MPA
Project Manager
Zseraldina Ferenczi, MPA, LSSGB is a project manager for various Implementation Science research studies. These studies aim to enhance healthcare delivery and implementing evidence-based practices, especially in the field of cancer care. Zseraldina is passionate about building and fostering effective relationships between teams using relational coordination strategies to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination across multidisciplinary teams involved in these important research initiatives.
Emily Morrow, M.A., Ph.D.
Data Integration Specialist
Emily Morrow, M.A., Ph.D., is a qualitative medical sociologist with research experience in implementation science, physician culture, patient outcomes, doctor-patient interaction, health care dissemination, and public health program evaluation.
Sarah Johnson-Munguia, M.A., M.S.
Sarah Johnson-Munguia, M.A., M.S., is a Clinical Psychology Ph.D. student at the University of Kansas. Her current research focuses on improving assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of eating disorders, particularly in racial and ethnic minoritized populations. While completing her Master’s of Science in Clinical Research at KUMC she became interested in implementation science and using implementation strategies to improve the provision of mental health services.
Aaliyah Daniels
Aaliyah Daniels is an undergraduate student at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, currently pursuing her Bachelor's degree in Sociology. She is expected to graduate in the Spring of 2025 with university honors. Aaliyah's academic interests include implementation science, qualitative research, and community health.
