Tuition and Fees

Departmental Support
The department of Population Health offers scholarships, awards, and graduate research assistantships and all students have the ability to be considered for selection:
Scholarships
- Avis G. McPike Scholarship
- Foster G. McGaw Award (AUPHA)
- Ray Davis Scholarship
- Jerry Slaughter Scholarship for Health Care Policy
Graduate Research Assistantships
- Two GRA positions offered annually
- Assignment to a MHSA faculty member
- Part-time, temporary .5 FTE position (20 hours work commitment per week)
- Non-resident fee waiver for both semesters (GRAs pay in-state rates)

Financial Aid
To apply for financial aid, you'll need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). The federal code for the University of Kansas Medical Center is 001948. Contact the financial aid office if you have questions at 913-588-5170 or FinancialAid@kumc.edu.

- Federal Student work-study positions are available for those who meet the criteria. Please contact the Student Financial Aid Office for more information.
