Collin Cooper is a healthcare strategy and finance professional serving the role as Director of Strategic Business Planning for the University of Kansas Health System. His responsibilities include overseeing all business plan development, strategic capital investments, and supporting strategic decision making. Most recently he has been working on system-wide business intelligence initiatives to develop real-time business and financial key performance indicators.
Collin has a passion for education, learning and developing future leaders in healthcare. He has overseen the Business and Strategic Development graduate internship program the past four years and will be serving as one of the formal preceptors for the University of Kansas Health System Administrative Fellowship Program. He also participates on a finance steering committee for a local not-for-profit charter school in the Kansas City area.
After receiving his Master of Health Services Administration, he completed an administrative fellowship at Duke University Health System focusing on Ambulatory Practice Management. Being a native of Kansas City, Collin decided to move from North Carolina back to Kansas City in 2012 and has been with the University of Kansas Health System since.
