I ranked KU as my top choice for residency not only for the quality of surgical education and operating experience but more importantly for the quality of people I would be training with. I rotated with the department as a medical student and was impressed by how close-knit, talented, and hard-working everyone was from top to bottom. I knew it was a special program and I am beyond excited to join the plastic surgery family.
