Why KU

When away rotations were canceled during my fourth year of medical school due to COVID, I was lucky to have to opportunity to rotate for two months with my home program at KU. During my time on service, I loved having the chance to get to know all the incredible residents and faculty. Everyone was extremely welcoming and excited to teach me in clinic and in the OR. I appreciated the clinical volume and the opportunity to be involved in a wide variety of cases, even as a student. I am fortunate to be able to stay at KU for residency and look forward to being a part of the tight-knit family here.
