Postdoctoral Fellows:

We welcome applications from individuals with PhD or MD, PhD training who are seriously pursuing a career in science. We are especially looking for applicants with a record of first author (or the major contributor) publication showing strong background in molecular, cell- and developmental biology and/or experience in working with stem cells. Strong training in molecular biology techniques is essential. In addition, training with mouse models and experience with the isolation and handling of pre- and post-implantation mouse embryos are extremely desirable qualifications. Interested applicants should send a curriculum vitae, description of research experience and interests and contact information for references. Possibility to apply for own post-doctoral fellowship through national and international agencies will be encouraged.

Graduate Students:

We take an active part in graduate training at KUMC and welcome highly motivated and self-driven graduate students through the IGPBS (PhD) and MD/PhD training programs. In addition, the Department of Pathology encourages strong applications for direct recruitments to the departmental graduate program. Undergraduates:

We occasionally have the opportunity to accommodate enthusiastic and dedicated undergraduate students in our research team. We expect serious effort and long-term commitment and in return provide the opportunity to become part of an active research project in the lab.
