Application information for U.S. Medical School Graduates
- Applications only accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)
- USMLE first-attempt pass rate is preferred
- For D.O. students, COMLEX scores are accepted. First-attempt pass rate is preferred
- Graduation from medical school within the past 10 years
- Minimum of 3 Letters of Recommendation from medical school faculty, submitted directly through ERAS
- Personal Statement & CV submitted with ERAS application
Application information for International Medical Graduates (IMGs)
- Applications only accepted through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS)
- USMLE first-attempt pass rate is preferred
- Graduation from medical school within the past 10 years
- Minimum of 3 Letters of Recommendation from medical school faculty and/or Pathologists you worked with on U.S. clinical
- Personal Statement & CV submitted with ERAS application
- Must have ECFMG certificate at time of ranking

For MATCH 2025
- The KUMC Pathology Residency is participating in the Unified Residency Program Interview Offer Initial Release Date for Pathology in the 2025 Match. We will release interview offers NO EARLIER than Friday, October 18th, 2024.
- Pathology residency candidate interviews will occur virtually via Zoom.. Interview invitations and scheduling will be through ThalamusGME
- Candidates will be interviewed by members of the department’s clinical faculty and KCVA faculty.
- Prior to interviews, candidates will receive an overview of the program by Katie Dennis, M.D., AP/CP Residency Program Director.
