Finding Success at the University of Kansas Orthopedic Surgery Residency Program

KU orthopedics is a high-volume, rigorous training program that will prepare you to be practice ready at the end of your 5 years. We believe residency is where you learn to operate and fellowship if for refining and specializing your craft.  While we stick close to our blue-collar identity, we encourage you to look at our fellowship matches [link to fellowship match page] to see how successful our graduating residents have been in the fellowship matching process.  A successful resident here comes to work hard and dedicate themselves to their profession.  He or she desires to be part of a close-knit community of residents and faculty who have each others’ and their patients’ best interests in mind.
