Resident Wellness
We recognize that residency can be stressful. We're here to help develop strong, competent and caring physicians through various wellness opportunities for residents.
The residents at The University of Kansas department of Obstetrics and Gynecology have access to health and wellness resources within the department, from the Graduate Medical Education office, and through our national specialty-specific organizations. Activities are planned throughout the year and include:

- ACOG/CREOG National Wellness Week. Daily activities focus on health and wellness
- Desk bikes, happy lights, fitness balls, and on-site chair massages
- Kirmayer Fitness Center membership, counseling services, and educational services
- Opportunities to participate in local 5K races
- Group outdoor time on trails and parks around the Kansas City area
