Laura obtained her B.S. of Health Science and minored in Spanish and Public Health at the University of Missouri-Kansas City in 2016. Since 2024, she has been a clinical research coordinator with the OBGYN department. After graduation, she started working with underserved populations, focusing on mother and infant health & wellness in the Kansas City metro by connecting them to resources and education. In 2018, she joined Dr. Hull’s body composition lab in the Dietetics and Nutrition department. She has experience coordinating research studies on different topics and population groups like maternal & infant body composition, childhood nutrition & cognition, and maternal fetal medicine. She is involved in screening, recruiting & consenting participants, creating recruitment materials, data collection, managing and maintaining databases, internal and external coordination, regulatory maintenance, body composition and dietary analysis, and Spanish translation. Her interests include women’s health and infant nutrition and body composition.
Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Health from Kansas State University and her master’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Kansas Medical Center. Since 2024, Sarah has served as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the OBGYN department. Prior to joining, she worked as a study coordinator in the Department of Dietetics and Nutrition. Sarah has broad experience managing NIH-funded studies focused on maternal and infant health, nutrition, and neurodevelopment. Her skills include dietary data collection, body composition analysis, cognitive testing, regulatory compliance, and database management. She has co-authored multiple peer-reviewed publications that contribute to advancing research in prenatal and early childhood nutrition. She is passionate about advancing research that improves maternal and child outcomes through evidence-based nutrition and clinical care.
Molly earned her bachelor’s degree in Dietetics from Kansas State University and her master’s degree in Dietetics and Nutrition from the University of Kansas Medical Center. She is a Registered Dietitian and currently pursuing her PhD in Medical Nutrition Science at KUMC. Her research interests center on the role of nutrition in women’s health across the lifespan, with particular interest in the prenatal period and midlife. Molly joined the OBGYN research team in 2025, where she coordinates studies across a variety of specialties, including Maternal Fetal Medicine, Cardiology, and Weight Management. She is involved in all phases of the research process, including regulatory oversight, participant enrollment, and data collection.
Daniel earned a bachelor’s and master’s degree in English from the University of Kansas. He joined the OBGYN research team in 2023 from Acute Care Surgery (formerly known as Trauma Research or Traumahawks) at KUMC. Before that, he utilized his EMT-B license as an Emergency Care Technician at Research Medical Center for seven years. His research interest focuses on advancing care for women of all identities. He enjoys supporting medical students, residents, and fellows interested in research. He coordinates studies including the Basic Sciences, Gynecology Oncology, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Reproductive Endocrinology & Infertility. NIH grants, industry-sponsors, and internal grants or awards fund the studies. His research experiences include regulatory oversight, sponsor correspondence, study initiation and implementation, data management, chart review, specimen handling, and participant enrollment.
