Our faculty members treat thousands of patients through joint appointments with The University of Kansas Health System, which also serves as a tremendous training ground for our residents. Our neurosurgeons and residents take great pride in providing advanced, innovative care to patients.

Clinical specialties

As the largest neurosurgical group in the Kansas City area, our skilled physicians are experts in a wide range of conditions.

To become more familiar with our neurosurgeons and their areas of expertise, please visit our faculty page.

Telehealth

Now you have the option of connecting with your KU neurosurgeon over telehealth. It's a safe and easy alternative for our patients to receive the same high-quality care patients are accustomed to during an in-person visit. Support groups

Please note: Some of our support groups currently are meeting virtually so you can still connect safely and easily from the comfort of your home.

After an aneurysm rupture, traumatic brain injury or other event, patients may suffer cognitive impairment, aphasia and other life-long deficits. We are committed to being there for all our patients throughout your health journey with us. One important way we fulfill that commitment is by offering support groups through The University of Kansas Health System that serve our patients long-term.

This is an opportunity for you to hear directly from physicians, nurses, psychologists and other medical experts who will answer your questions in a relaxed, informal environment.

  • Brain vascular/aneurysm
